Jesmonite Tray Care Guide

In order to prolong the life of your tray, please follow the care instructions provided:

🌿 Material

-Jesmonite is an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to concrete or resin.

-It is a water-based product, made from natural minerals, meaning it is fully recyclable.

-It is non-toxic and free from any harmful solvents.

-Naturally fire-resistant, Jesmonite is suitable for styling with candles.

-Sealed with a vegan-friendly, water-resistant finish. This sealer repels water, but is not 100% waterproof.

Please note: Due to the handmade nature of our trays, each piece is unique. Colour, pattern and marbling may vary slightly from item to item. Small air bubbles may appear, these are a natural part of the Jesmonite casting process and add to the character and charm of each tray.

🧼 Cleaning

-Wipe gently with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.

-Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning sprays, which may cause discolouration.

-Not dishwasher or microwave safe.

-For dust, a soft microfiber cloth works best.

-To help prolong the life of your Jesmonite tray, re-wax after 6 months to keep your product looking its best.

❄️ Wax Removal Tip

If melted wax spills onto your tray, place it in the freezer for about an hour. Once hardened, the wax will lift off cleanly without damaging the surface.

⚠️ Handling

-Jesmonite is durable but can chip or crack if dropped; handle with care!

-Avoid dragging heavy objects across the surface.

-Protective pads are included underneath, to help prevent scratches on your tray and your tabletops.

📦 Storage

-Store in a dry area away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and finish.

-Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or heat.
